Homeless Ministry

Helping the Homeless – Cheryl Fortin is our representative to an outreach to street people in downtown Montreal.

Items most needed are:

– sleeping bags/warm blankets
– Men’s or Women’s boots (good condition, don’t have to be new)
– thermal socks and underwear for men or women
– hats, gloves and scarves
– Men’s or Women’s clothes – jeans are really appreciated
– toiletry kits (soap, washcloth, shavers, small cans of shaving cream, toothpaste, toothbrush, antiperspirant – small travel sized). Sanitary hygiene products for women.

Used items in good condition are welcome, but please insure they are clean with no holes or stains. This is a ministry and they want to be able to provide items that will bless the person and reach them for Christ. They are not accepting baby/children’s items.

A donation bin is set up in the front entrance of the church.

If anyone is interested in being involved in this ministry, please contact the church and we will put you in touch with Cheryl.

Thank you

Christian Salvage Mission

Christian Salvage Mission This is a recycling ministry that sends used Bibles and other evangelical materials to missionaries, pastors and Bible schools overseas. Instead of putting your old Daily Bread booklets, old Bibles, studies you have finished in the recycling, please bring them for CSM as they are a real blessing to missionaries in the field who do not have easy access to materials. The clear plastic bins just below the missionary bulletin board in the lobby are for material collection. Check out the poster just above the bins for more details about this ministry as well as a list of items they accept. You can visit their website at www.csmcanada.org for more information on this ministry.
